Book onlinePUTNEY SW15
Putney sits on the south bank of the Thames in SW15, across Putney Bridge from Fulham and running up towards Putney Heath and Roehampton. It is a busy mix of riverside mansion blocks, Victorian and Edwardian terraces off the High Street, and family homes near the Common. PianoSpeed move pianos in and out of all of them.
We handle uprights, baby grands, grands and concert grands, plus digital pianos, Clavinovas and stage pianos. Whether you are moving within Putney, arriving from elsewhere in London, or sending a piano further afield on GB mainland, the work is done by a fully insured, piano-trained crew with purpose-built equipment. You can get a fixed price online in under 60 seconds at book.pianospeed.com.

HOW IT WORKS
We run one set delivery day per postcode area. For SW15 that day is currently Wednesday, so your Putney move slots into a planned route rather than a one-off visit. This keeps the price down and the timing reliable.
Book online at book.pianospeed.com, enter both addresses and the piano details, and you get a fixed price straight away. We confirm the next available Wednesday for your postcode, then call or message you the day before with a 3-hour target window. If your dates are tight, book early so we can place you on the right Wednesday.
Areas we cover nearby include Wandsworth, Barnes, East Sheen, Wimbledon, Fulham and Roehampton, all part of our wider London and Surrey coverage.

PROTECTION
Every piano travels in a top of the range, triple-thickness fitted transit cover, not loose blankets thrown over the top. The cover is shaped to the instrument so nothing rubs or shifts on the road.
On grands and baby grands the legs and pedals come off and each goes into its own padded bag, then all the parts are stowed together inside a heavy duty crate. The body travels on a padded skid board. This is the difference between a specialist piano mover and a general removals firm, and it is why the piano arrives in the same condition it left.
LOCAL ACCESS
Putney throws up plenty of access challenges. The mansion blocks along the Lower Richmond Road and the Embankment often have upper-floor flats with no lift and a single tight stairwell. The terraces behind the High Street can have narrow Victorian hallways and steep half-landings, and much of SW15 falls inside a controlled parking zone.
We plan the route and the parking before the day. Our crews carry stair-climbers and spider dollies for controlled handling, and where a piano genuinely cannot go up or down the stairs we arrange a crane lift through a window. Stairs and floor level are chargeable and are calculated automatically in your online quote from the number of floors and whether there is a lift, so the price you see already accounts for the access at both addresses.
