Book onlineEALING W5 W13
PianoSpeed move pianos throughout Ealing and the W5 and W13 postcode areas. That takes in the larger Edwardian houses around Ealing Common and Pitshanger, the mansion blocks and converted flats near Ealing Broadway, the streets around Walpole Park, and the terraces running out towards West Ealing and Northfields.
We move every kind of piano. Uprights, baby grands, grands and concert grands go on our specialist runs, and we handle digital pianos, Clavinovas and stage pianos as well. The crews are piano-trained, the work is fully insured, and you get a fixed price online at https://book.pianospeed.com with no site visit needed.

WEDNESDAY ROUTING
We run one delivery day per postcode area so each van follows a planned route rather than zig-zagging across London. For W5, W13 and the wider Ealing area that set day is Wednesday. When you book, you pick the next available Wednesday that suits you and the system holds your slot on that route.
You book the whole job online in a few minutes. Enter both addresses, the piano, and the access at each end, and the price comes back straight away. The day before your move we contact you with a three-hour target window so you know roughly when the crew will arrive. There is no need to give us a preferred time when you book.

ACCESS AND STAIRS
Ealing access varies a lot from one street to the next. The big Edwardian and Victorian houses around Ealing Common and Pitshanger often have steep front steps, a half-landing turn and a piano destined for an upstairs music room. The flats near Ealing Broadway and West Ealing can mean upper floors, a lift that is too small for an instrument, and tight controlled parking outside.
We work out the approach and parking before the day. Our crews carry stair-climbers, spider dollies and padded skid boards for safe handling on steps and sharp turns. Where a piano cannot go up the stairs at all, we arrange a crane lift through a window or over a balcony. Stairs and floor level are chargeable and are worked out automatically in your online quote from the number of floors and whether there is a usable lift, so the price you see already covers the access at both ends.
TRANSIT PROTECTION
Every piano travels in a top-of-the-range, triple-thickness fitted transit cover instead of loose blankets. The cover is shaped to the instrument so nothing rubs or shifts on the journey.
On grands and baby grands we remove the legs and pedals and each one goes into its own padded bag, then they are packed together in a heavy-duty crate so nothing knocks during loading or transit. The body rides on a padded skid board. This is the standard we use on every Ealing move, whether it is a short hop within W5 or a longer run elsewhere on the GB mainland.

Questions
Ealing and the W5 and W13 areas are served on Wednesdays. We run one set day per postcode, so you book the next available Wednesday online and we confirm a three-hour target window the day before.
Yes. Many of those houses have steep steps and a turn at the top of the stairs, so we plan the route in advance. We use stair-climbers and spider dollies where the stairs allow, and arrange a crane lift through a window where they do not. Stairs and floor level are chargeable and included in your online price.
Yes. Alongside uprights, baby grands and grands, we move digital pianos, Clavinovas and stage pianos across W5 and W13. Tell us the make and model when you book so we bring the right crew and equipment.
